Facilities

The art course at Atelier Montmiral offers exceptional facilities in printmaking, providing students with the opportunity to experiment freely:

Etching, and monoprint: Large etching press with a good sized printing bed. Facilities for acid biting, aquatint, dry point, and carborundum.

 

Screen-Printing: Vacuum printing bed and textile table, for hand cut, painted and photo stencils, and exposure unit

Book Making: A nipping press for book binding and relief printing such as:

Lino, Block Printing and Collograph.

Photo and Computer Generated Imagery: Photoshop programme

Our light and airy art studio enables students the opportunity to explore all types of drawing and painting in both water and oil-based media:

Pencil
Charcoal and pastel
Water-colour
Gouache
Acrylic, oil and pigment painting

Easels, drawing boards and general studio equipment are provided.
