Accommodation

We provide accommodation at the atelier and in two gites close by in the village. We do not use the gites unless the school accommodation is full.

Opal Room – This provides ample space for two people with a double bed in one room, and a comfortable main sitting room with a single bed/sofa and adjoining shower room. This room could also suit a small family. There is a lovely view of the centre of the village and surrounding valley.

Rose Room – This cool and spacious room has twin beds, with an ensuite shower room. Views over the village and our colourful terrace.

White Room – This has twin beds with a large ensuite bathroom. There are lovely views of the valleys and Foret de Gresigne.

The Gites – Both of the gites are full of medieval charm and have stunning views of the surrounding countryside. They both provide a kitchen and spacious sitting area. The bedrooms are either twins or doubles and are light and airy.

Sitting/Resource Room

This is available to all students, and houses a comprehensive collection of art books. There are tea and coffee making facilities.

MEALS

We provide a French style breakfast with fresh fruit and yoghurts every day. This can be taken in the Dining Room or out on the Terrace which has lovely views of the surrounding countryside.

There are three course dinners with local wine for five evenings for the one week course, and seven for the ten. These are all home-cooked at the atelier. The cooking generally reflects the delicious local cuisine often with an added Mediterranean influence. Where ever possible we buy fresh local produce, and dishes often change according to seasonal delicacies. Vegetarians are always welcome.

The remaining meals are eaten at the local village restaurants and are not included in the price of the course.
