The whole village and the surrounding landscape was just beautiful. A perfect setting for an art course, we couldn’t have asked for a better location. The school was really well equipped and the gite Suzanne and I stayed in was fine and only a few minutes walk away, which actually made it nicer to start and end our days with a walk through the village. Lovely! Mick and Bunny were not only two obviously very talented artists but were also incredibly patient tutors and amazing chefs too!! What a welcoming couple. They couldn’t have been more informative and helpful about everything. We both learnt loads from them and the other students. I’ve warned them that we will be going back! ” Kay – Civil Servant – Intermediate 2009 “I hope that the remaining guests managed to achieve the same sense of personal achievment as I did. Of course I know that there is nothing magic about the hard work that you both put into making everything run so smoothly and your attention to the smallest detail contributes significantly to the overall success of the whole experience. You are both excellent teachers and I envy the way in which you seem to complement one another when giving support and advice. Every aspect of the week was excellent and I return home energised and more confident about my ability to return to my own work.” Jenny – Art Lecturer – Advanced 2009 |
